U-Step ll Walker
The U-Step 2 Walking Stabilizer is designed to provide enhanced stability, control and maneuverability for individuals with neurological conditions and mobility difficulties. Its distinctive U-shaped base provides a low centre of gravity and surrounds the user for increased stability, while the reverse braking system keeps the walker stationary until the brake controls are activated. The U-Step 2 also features adjustable rolling resistance, a spring-loaded front caster for navigating uneven surfaces, and a highly maneuverable design suitable for narrow indoor spaces.
The range includes the standard U-Step 2 with Seat, a Press Down version for users who have difficulty squeezing conventional hand brakes, and a Platform version with adjustable padded forearm supports for users requiring additional upper-body support. An optional Cueing Module provides visual laser and adjustable auditory cues to assist users experiencing freezing or irregular gait patterns.

U-Step 2 Cueing Module
The optional U-Step 2 Cueing Module (750288) is designed to assist users who experience freezing or irregular gait patterns. The module projects a laser line onto the floor to provide a visual stepping cue and provides an adjustable auditory beat to help establish walking cadence. The audio cadence can be adjusted from 59 to 130 bpm across 15 settings, while the laser timeout can be adjusted from 4 to 28 minutes. The module operates using 2 AA batteries.
