Severe pain in my thumb. Since I type several hours a day, this brace was the only thing that made it possible for me to do my job! It was a life saver for sure! Highly recommend. It was my left hand so I didn't need to use the space bar. Not sure how it would be on my right hand, but since part of your thumb is free, I think it would still help significantly.

It works, but could be more comfortable with thicker under glove. It does the trick. Good for the price .

A really great brace. It is easy to get off and on, and if you want, you can wear it without the sleeve, so you can keep it on while bathing, swimming, washing your hands, etc. I had a tendon problem in my Left thumb. I wore this almost continuously for 3 weeks, and my thumb was able to rest and heal. I even wore it to my workout classes. I would highly recommend it over other thumb splints because of its effectiveness and comfort

I wanted something hard that kept my thumb in place that wouldn't absorb moisture and it was what I wanted.
