This brace absolutely helps me when playing guitar. My arthritis pain during and after the guitar has been alleviated.
My playing is restricted just a little bit when wearing the brace, but it is worth the trade off. I won't play without it and I would recommend it highly if you have thumb problems from overuse or arthritis.

I have worn both a left and right brace now for two months. they do give added stability and strength to the lowest thumb joint. The hook and loop closure however is growing weaker. I have followed the manufacturer's instructions on its care, but I know I will need to sew on some new hook and loop closure soon.

This is great to immobilize my thumb while sleeping, not really good for working in the yard as it's not enough protection. Unilateral primary osteoarthritis of first carpometacarpal joint, left hand.

This thumb brace is useful for my thumb pain, its just a bit costly

This thumb brace is very useful, I have arthritic thumb pain, with this brace I can use my thumb much better.
