This is good splint for rest and positioning for foot drop after stroke

I have to get up in the night every night to take one of our children to the bathroom. This brace is not comfortable to wear while walking. It's quite painful on the top of the foot if you walk in it. So for me I can't wear it to bed, which would be the optimal time for wearing it.

I'm recovering from ankle surgery and was supposed to sleep in a heavy boot. The boot turns your foot out, and it's just plain heavy and uncomfortable. I found this and it worked perfectly from helping to prevent "drop foot". Never once did I find it to be tight or uncomfortable. I wore a sock underneath. No you can't walk while wearing it, but who cares. It makes sleeping so much more comfortable!
