This wonderful device enables me to keep my invalid 98-year-old mom at home - so I must give it at least four stars.

I was looking for equipment to help me transport my husband from chair to toilet and to bed. I knew I needed this if we were to remain in our home rather than go to an assisted living facility. I searched the internet for a week or more and then I saw the Able Assist Transfer Aid. This was exactly what I was looking for. We put it together and used it immediately. I do need to give my husband some assistance to stand from a sitting position, but he is then able to shift his weight forward and rest on the knee pads. I put the seats into position and off we go. I am able to wheel him into the bathroom; place the transporter over the toilet; open the seats; and he is in a perfect position to lower himself onto the toilet seat. This equipment has made the impossible possible for me. It is very sturdy and well made.

Bought this for my mother who is 85 recovering from a broken hip. In the initial stages when she was having a difficult time transferring from the bed to the bathroom this was very helpful. The quality is very good and much less than some of the more expensive ones but without sacrificing quality

Very well made, tubing and frame material is very thick, and all joints fit very snug. Impressed right out of the box, which was packed excellently.

My mom saw this stand assist used in the hospital with my dad after his stroke. He was very weak and completely unable to use his left arm. He has no control over his left leg. This product has absolutely been invaluable to my mom. She easily moves him room to room and from bed to wheelchair without assistance. So glad we found and purchased this product.
